Mon 30.05 - Carluccio’s

Carluccios Dublin

It’s been awhile since the last time that I included in the blog an Italian place, so no complaining will be accepted! Even because you are going to love this place. During the Irish summer I am always looking for places where to eat or have a coffee sitting outside and what’s better than having a plate of Ravioli spinach & ricotta, followed by a delicious tiramisu under the sun?

Tue 31.05 -Las Tapas de Lola

LasapasDeLola Dublin

Spanish tapas, beer, wine, sangria. The place located in Dublin City Centre is owned by the Irish Vanessa and the Spanish Anna, the result of this mix it’s pretty good. The owners say that Tapas are in their blood and that they wanted to open a Tapas bar in Dublin for 10 years. The name “Lola” is given to the grandmother who everyone begs to get her recipes and the Lola of the night known for her Flamenco.

Wed 01.06 - Berlin D2

Berlin Dublin

That’s the typical cool Café of the City Centre: minimalist wooden environment, cool waiters and waitresses and fancy hipster customer. It’s located just on the back of Powerscourt and it is another place where you can sit outside exploiting the rare sun, an undeniable advantage. Tasty sambos, treats and beers. Dj booth on Friday afternoon, Markets on Sunday, Yoga classes.. A place full of promises!

Thu 02.06 - Blazing Salad

Blazing Salads Dublin

Hungry and craving something healthy? The Blazing Salad it’s a perfect place for a brief stop while you’re strolling around Dublin. It’s a family-run, multi award winning, vegetarian, wholefood deli that offers a wide variety of homemade and fresh food. For the perfect combo I suggest you to grab a salad and a treat here, cross the street, get a take away coffee at Kaph and go sit on a bench in front the Powerscourt!

Fri 03.06 - The Bath

TheBath Dublin

After a Rugby Match at the Aviva Stadium or simply after a working/studying day that’s the perfect place to gather with your friends and unwind a bit. Since February 2012 this place offers a huge range of craft beers, premium spirits and cocktail. A good place to start your long weekend.

Sat  04.06 - Opium Rooms - Carl Craig & The Black Madonna

Opium Rooms Dublin

Saturday stands for nightclub as Sunday stand for brunch. This Saturday I recommend you visit Opium Rooms, a multi-purpose entertainment venues that is a restaurant, a late-bar and a nightclub at the same time. In particular if you are in the mood for a good techno music buy the tickets for Carl Craig & The Black Madonna here.

Sun 05.06 - Dalkey

Dalkey Dublin

Ireland is a beautiful island full of hidden places to discover, especially during summer. Dalkey, originally founded as a Viking settlement, now is an exquisite minor tourist attraction, which means that is a peaceful and still authentic place. In front of Dalkey and its picturesque port you can see happy seals and Bottlenose dolphins swimming undisturbed and a small floating island populated with wild goats and rabbits. Plus it’s just 30 minutes by Dart from Dublin!
