04.07. - 10.07.2016
Mon 04.07 - Bobo’s
Gourmet Irish Burgers, high quality ingredients, winning taste for a place where vegetarians are also welcome. Since its opening in Wexford Street, Bobos has expanded and opened a restaurant as well. Good place to go to recover after the crazy dancing and drinking on Saturday or Sunday night. For all budgets: a Bacon Cheese Burger with Chips and drink is only 10 EUR.
Tue 05.07 - Simon’s Place
Close to the Dublin Castle in South George’s Street there is the perfect place to start your day with a tasty breakfast. Since 1997 Simon’s Place has been a meeting place for artists and students, probably attracted by the informal and cozy atmosphere. Large windows and old gig posters on the walls. Apparently the cinnamon buns are a must try here.
Wed 06.07 - Viking Splash Tour
It’s definitely not one of those attractions that both tourists and dubliners can enjoy. But if you are a tourist and you want to find an alternative way to visit the main attractions in Dublin, by land and by water, that’s a good alternative. So wear your viking helmet and enjoy the tour. Book your ticket here.
Thu 07.07 - La Peniche
That’s a fancy thing to do for a particular occasion! Dining while floating on the Grand Canal! You can opt for a romantic dinner or for a more casual buffet with your friends. In any case the experience will be unique, especially during a bright summer evening. Have a look here.
Fri 08.07 - Cult Called Man - The Grand Social
At the Grand Social this Friday night Cult Called Man will perform, an Irish rock quintet that was conceived in a psychiatric ward. You don’t know what to expect? Listen to their single from their debut album and prepare yourself for a night of unconventional music. https://www.cultcalledman.net/
Sat-Sun 09 -10.07 - Achill Island - Kitesurfing - Pure Magic
Two days in the middle of the nature! That’s what you can expect from this weekend of kitesurfing. Achill Island, in County Mayo, is the largest island off the coast of Ireland. Breathtaking landscape, mountains and Blue Flag beaches. After just few days of course at the Pure Magic School you will be considered an independent kite surfer. I suggest you gather a group of friends and spend the night there, in fact the school offers nice rooms to share and includedfood in the price as well. Bring your guitar and be prepared for a magic experience. Prices and more information available here.
