ABOUT ERASMUS+ ENGLISH COURSES IN EVEREST

What is Erasmus+ ?

Erasmus+ is a flagship initiative of the EU aiming to bolster education, youth, sports, and training endeavors for European citizens. It does this by providing support and funding towards cross-educational courses and exchange programmes for individuals working in youth, sport and education sectors across Europe. 

The Erasmus+ Mobility Programmes are open to extend opportunities for participation in training programmes or collaborative projects abroad under the KA1 or KA2 schemes. These Mobility Projects help individuals to enhance their professional skills and enjoy enriching international study experiences. Primary, Secondary and Adult educators can apply to take part in these Erasmus+ projects developing the skills needed for pedagogical instruction through English and courses tailored to the teaching of English as a second language. Third level educators and researchers are also eligible to take part in English language courses or academic and professional skills development courses.

An Erasmus course is defined as a specialised full-time training programme that lasts for a minimum of two days, excluding your travel days. Courses are organised in week blocks, and participants can book from 1 to 25 weeks depending on their needs. From comprehensive General English courses to specialised exam preparation for IELTS and CAE, our Erasmus+ Mobility program promises both educational enrichment and a diverse array of social activities to complement and enhance the learning experience.

How to apply

Applications to the Erasmus+ programme should be made through your institution or organisation. You can inquire with your institution about their involvement in the Erasmus+ grant. Everest will be happy to provide you with proof of enrolment should you need it for your application to the Erasmus+ programme. If we have not already, we will work with your organisation to draft a bespoke Mobility Agreement.

Youth & Sport

All citizens from EU member who are working in the education, sport or youth sectors are eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ Mobility Project grant. Participation is also open to several non-Eu states.
Individuals from Iceland, Lichtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia or Türkiye are eligible to apply for Erasmus+, despite their non-EU member status. These countries are associated with the Erasmus+ scheme, allowing opportunities for their citizens to engage in the program.
