TrustEd Ireland Mark: Our Progress Towards Authorisation – October 2026

At Everest Language School, maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence, student support, and compliance is central to everything we do. We are pleased to share an update with our international learners, agents, and global partners regarding our formal application for the TrustEd Ireland mark (the International Education Mark – IEM).

We have completed every operational phase of the evaluation process and have formally submitted our final assessment documentation. Below is a step-by-step overview of our journey through the TrustEd accreditation process:

Completion of Comprehensive QA Framework: We updated and formalised a huge body of institutional policies spanning corporate governance, academic alignment, learner welfare, and facility standards in order to align them with the statutory Quality Assurance Guidelines issued by QQI.

Independent Academic & Operational Governance Established: We established a clear separation between our commercial operations and academic decision-making, ensuring our Director of Studies and Academic Governance Committee have independent oversight of our teaching quality and CEFR curriculum alignment.

Submission of the IEM Application Statement (IEMAS): We completed and submitted our institutional self-assessment. This was a detailed document demonstrating full compliance across all criteria of the Code of Practice for the Provision of English Language Education (ELE).

On-Site Assessment Panel Visit: We hosted the QQI assessment panel at our premises on Merrion Square.  During this inspection we had to demonste our operational capacity, teaching standards, facilities, and student support infrastructure.

Factual Accuracy Report Returned: Following receipt of the assessment panel’s report, we completed our formal review and returned our final Factual Accuracy Report to QQI. In this report we received feedback on all our processes and policies, a roadmap for future improvements and commendations from the assessors.

Awaiting Final Authorisation: With all evaluation and factual verification steps successfully concluded, we are now waiting for the final approval decision from the Approval Committee, we expect to receive our official TrustEd mark decision by the end of this year.

Fully ILEP Authorised

Throughout this transition period, Everest Language School remains fully authorised and compliant under the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP). All current and prospective Study/Work visa programmes remain entirely valid, fully operational, and covered by our Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL) arrangements.

Once formal authorisation is issued by the QQI Board, the TrustEd mark will be officially added to our accreditation portfolio alongside our existing memberships with English Education Ireland (EEI) and ELT Ireland.

We look forward to sharing the final announcement with our partners and prospective students before the year ends!
